杰里米·迈尔斯, Curriculum Coordinator
迈尔斯, former owner and co-founder of Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company, served as head brewer from 2010 to 2019 where he earned Philly Beer Scene Brewer of the Year from 2016 to 2018. He created the Mutual Respect Brewers Co-op, a collaboration of smaller breweries that share resources while also maintaining their individual brewery brands. Currently 迈尔斯 is also a consultant to the Braumanufaktur Bachs in Neunkirchen, 德国, training German brewers in American craft brewing techniques. His brewing credentials include certificates from the Sibel Institute, HACCP二级食品安全, and qualification as a recognized judge by the Beer Judge Certification Program.
Joe Hertrich, Instructor (Malts)
Hertrich is the retired Group Director, Brewing Raw Materials at Anheuser-Busch, Inc. His responsibilities included the operation of the company’s malt plants, 碾米厂和啤酒花农场, and the supervision of all facilities that produced and handled brewing raw materials for Anheuser-Busch products worldwide.
Prior to joining Anheuser-Busch, Hertrich held various positions in brewing with The Stroh Brewery Company, 帕布斯特酿酒公司, and the Christian Schmidt Brewing Company. 在退休后, 他继续咨询, 教, 写, and speak on his observations over 55 years in the U.S. 酿造工业.

Erik Walp, Instructor (Yeast)
Walp is an alumni of 十大正规赌博平台大全, earning a BS in Biology in 2005. He worked in medical research for nearly a decade at respected facilities around the country including USA Cancer 研究 Institute, WRAIR, 埃默里大学和CHOP. He began his professional brewing career at Neshaminy Creek Brewing in 2013 and was integral in their growth from 1500 to 20,000桶/年. He served as lead brewer prior to establishing their quality control lab where he spent his final three years. Walp also co-created Croydon is Burning, a classic Rauchbier that has won numerous GABF medals. Walp most recently served as Head Brewer and Director of Operations for CoHops Brewery & Cannery contract brewing facility and was instrumental in transforming a small, failing brewpub into a respectable regional contract-brewing facility. Walp's brewing-specialization includes training in Siebel Brewing Quality Control and MBAA Packaging & 技术.
